I was born in Mobil Alabama but raised in the Philippines for over 6 years, then I came to the states. While I was overseas the only kind of music I would listen to was r&b, soul, and very little rap. It wasn't until I came to San Antonio that I began to absorb rap music. I joined choir in high school and graduated with hopes of pursuing a entertainment career. Things changed and I joined the military it was a cool experience but it wasn't really what I wanted to do. My first love was hip hop dancin. MC Hammer had a lot to do with that dream. While this was going on I joined a rap group (2hard2hype). This is when I learned that I had a talent for rap. I was rippin it up, and I went by the name of c major (don't laugh punk). When that time passed I was more in tune with my abilities. I changed my name to Krayon to describe myself and friends. My name represents everybody all the colors in the box. My family wasn't crazy about my choice to get involved in the hip hop genre, so I got with people who shared my passion. I've had hard times from jail to having no money, and no place to live. The one thing I've learned in my experience with stigma is a faith in God, patience, controlling my temper. I never had childhood friends I could count on but stigma is where it's at for me.
